Why not take a Mindfulness-Based Stress-Reduction (MBSR) course and learn powerful, life-enhancing skills that can help you shift in a more positive direction? MBSR teaches meditation and other awareness techniques to help people manage stress, pain, illness, and life's daily challenges more effectively and live with greater vitality, balance, and joy. With over 40 years of experience and vast scientific evidence, MBSR has demonstrated wide-ranging benefits, including improvements in physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

FREE Intro: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM ET, TUESDAY, April 14, 2020
8 Weekly Classes: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM ET, Tuesdays, April 21, 2020 through June 9, 2020
All Day Retreat: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM ET, SUNDAY, May 31, 2020
Logistics
Course Location: This course will be offer ONLINE in partnership with the Inova Joan and Russell Hitt Center for Healthy Living
Tuition:
DISCOUNTED Spring Tuition: In light of social distancing and all that is happening in the world right now, the regular tuition of $550 is discounted 25% to $412.50 for the spring courses. Tuition includes all course materials, ~30 hours of class time, and a library of recorded practice material.
FULL SCHOLARSHIPS: Full scholarships are available for people who are experiencing financial hardship at this time — please contact us to discuss this.
Minimum Age: 18 or older (if in high school, special permission from teacher is required; please email Karyn@amindfulchoice.com to explore).

If you are looking for the FULL, in-depth MBSR course, this is it! The program is facilitated by an experienced, Certified MBSR Teacher who is trained and qualified by the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical Center and Certified by Brown University’s School of Public Health.
Please note that MBSR is not offered as a replacement for traditional medical and psychological treatments, but as a complement to them.
